Vale lived in the outskirts of a land of magic and wolves who were able to control the elements they were assigned at birth. Out of those powers, came the packs. Light, Fire, Water, and Earth. These four packs kept the balance, but originally there was another pack. Shadow, which had been wiped out by all four packs. Very few survivors made it, and those that did were exiled into the barren lands. Vale was the final Shadow wolf, and had found himself living in one of the element's territories. He was able to hide his powers, and pretend to be a wolf who did not have any.
He stayed near his den today, laying down as his scarred eye was unable to study nothing. His ears twitched, picking up something through the bush.
