A Pride forming

Heavy paws rose and fell as a large lion walked on, the heat of the sun blaring down on his coat. He was dragging a fresh killed warthog, once he reached his destination he laid down and started feasting.

Vitani and Kira slowly made their way through the grasslands slowly. They weren't hungry right now having just hunted the night before. They were looking for a mate, protector, and a place to call home. Their pride had been killed by poachers when they were two years old, and they have been on the move ever since.

Kira spotted a tree a few kilometers ahead of them. "Vitani this way," she stated softly before padding toward the tree at a quick pace. "Wait up Kira," Vitani yelled before taking off after her. The sisters came to an abrupt halt, whenthey realised their was a male lion under the tree eating a dead warthog. "Hello there," Kira mewed softly looking the male over, and noticing hoe strong he looked.
