Arianna had been driving through the mountains to return home after visiting her parents. They'd had a nice time, but she wasn't a country girl. She hated the snow and the cold. The city was what she was used to. She owned a pent house that showed a gorgeous view of the city. Her father told her stories of mysterious creatures. She just nodded her head ; she didn't believe in scary stories. Nothing lived out there, but deer, moose, foxes, and maybe a few wolves.
She was having a hard time seeing as the snow came down harder and harder, mixing with freezing rain and sleet. She turned a corner and her car lost its traction, twirling over the edge of the back road. She screamed as it tumbled down the hill, glass and metal breaking. It stopped finally when it hit a tree. She slid from the car, brushing the snow from herself. It was too white to see anything. She started walking... Within twenty minutes she was shuttering, teeth chattering in her mouth as she walked. She was hopelessly lost. She tried crying for help, but nothing would work. Her honey colored hair was matted with snow, her green eyes were fogged with exhaustion, and her clothes didn't help keep her warm. She finally fell into the snow, laying on her back to watch the snow fall. She drifted to sleep, silently begging for help in her dreams...
